Trabajo de Corazon “Work of Heart”

In a time when so many are entitled, have lost Hope, Don’t believe in Grace, & can’t find Joy; I found lives being fully lived!  Recently, I return from the mountains of Saintiago, Dominican Republic.  There I was traveling with a Medical Mission team, serving those who don’t have access to the simple medical needs we take for granted.  I intented to GIVE to those we were serving, but like in most acts of giving you get so much more in return.

Hugs, smiles, the gift of pure happiness are a universal language.  A simple touch, a hand shake with a hug shares a feeling of Joy in a way communication cannot.  In the clinics we set up, we were able to equip, and inspire the patients through translators, general physical exams, medications, eye glasses, & dental work.  What an opportunity to stand along side some of the incredible medical staff I have worked with over the years and give back together.

What I didn’t know is my act of giving would Give me what I needed to be equipped & inspired for the journey ahead.  Every moment we take time to be present, to fully be alive, to honestly recognize we are here for a purpose and we have gifts to help others on this amazing journey called life is empowering.  We can make a difference!  We can change lives!  Start today...Smile at the next person you see and say Hi!  You will be surprised by what you get in return!
